In the Bible we can see three major gifts, which God gave to man: first, is the gift of life –“ The breath of life” The second is the gift of redemption – The redeemer “16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 Third, is the gift of the Holy Spirit[JC1] – The Comforter.” 26 …the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, Jesus, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. John 14:26 God is the only source and giver of these gifts. And man is the recipient or subject of these gifts[JC2] .

CRY FOR REVIVAL WEEKLY PRAYER
Hold fast and repent was our topic last week. Jesus admonished us to hold fast to our first works or the foundation of faith. Paul said, stand fast and hold the tradition. 2 Thess. 2:15 And Jesus said to the church, repent from where you have falling short. Because if you have believed Jesus, to repent is not to condemn you but a call to revival or restoration. And to keep watch and pray without ceasing.
Today, we are looking at what is prayer, how do we pray, who can pray, where, when, and why we pray. Prayer is a critical portion of living the Christian life and having relationship with God. This is obvious in the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. In the Bible, the word prayer is generally associated with communication between God and man. It also addresses your worship, meditation, supplication, and intercession, in connection with the living God. In addition, biblical prayer is offered to the living God, not to man, idol, or some personalities other than the God of the Bible – (The creator of all things including you. Isaiah 45:12)
Today we are looking at why we pray[JC2] . Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.” Said the Lord God. Isaiah 43:7
The path to victory with God is about maintain strong relationship with Him and his word, to the end. Hold fast and repent means stay in shape, abide in me and I in you, Jesus Said. John 15:4
Last week I introduced this series. Jesus said to the church you have left your first work or love. Why? I described the reason as spiritual amnesia. Because Jesus corrected his disciples for misunderstanding him because they could not remember the works of Jesus.
The revelation of Jesus Christ about the Church is a reminder of His critical command that you “Watch and pray” to stay zealous and diligent knowing that the master is watching and praying for you also. Think about workers doing the right thing when they know the boss is watching. And how drivers will avoid breaking traffic rules because police officer is on guard.
